About RMIT Publishing

RMIT Publishing brings together the electronic and print publishing divisions of RMIT University.

Informit Ondisc and Informit Online provide imprints for electronic publishing, while new print titles will be released under the imprints RMIT Publishing and RMIT University Press. Our goal is to successfully build upon the strengths of these two mediums. RMIT Publishing is committed to the creation of quality Australian-content educational materials at secondary school, TAFE/VET, and university level.

Electronic Publishing

RMIT Publishing is the major publisher of Australian databases on both CD-ROM and the Internet, for the education and research market in Australia. Under the imprints Informit Ondisc and Informit Online, our products will assist in the research associated with social science, computing, heritage, engineering, business, law, agriculture, drugs, education, family studies, sport, tourism and a range of other specialist areas of information.

ERIN and Informit Online

The Educational Resources and Information Network (ERIN), an initiative of RMIT Publishing, is an internet gateway for Australian information. ERIN provides access to major research reports, databases and full text publications. The major component of ERIN is Informit Online which provides internet access to the Informit range of databases. Over 50 databases can be subscribed to on an individual basis or in customised groups.

Book Publishing

Our book titles provide quality educational material for Australian TAFE and higher education institutions with a particular focus on hospitality, tourism, child care and building/construction.
